Favorite Photos: Sunset in Kansas. We camped at the exact halfway point between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans this night. There was an old train car on exhibit next to our campsite. Our route through most of Kansas followed the Santa Fe railroad which was instrumental in bringing ranchers to the west and bring cattle back.
Corey Crawford, a 20 year resident of Bay Ridge, and his wife Casey had their first daughter, Rogan Tomey Crawford in January, 2007. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, a form of blood cancer that is most commonly seen in infants. It's been over a year since she began treatment and she has improved immensely in that time. In an effort to raise awareness of the benefit fund set up in Rogan's name and to show support from the neighborhood that the Crawford's impacted so much, Danny, Jerry and Joe Ricciotti have elected to ride bicycles cross country for Rogan's cause.
